Combing soul and jazz influences into an effervescent youthful sound, T Nicole’s debut single “Crush On You” is a bubbly song about a girl on the brink of love. The singer/songwriter says of her music, “I write love songs – romantic love, self-love, searching for love – the music is simply human. And I just want people to have fun and feel good while listening!”
Raised in the small town of Nashville, North Carolina, songwriting and performing were simply hobbies for T Nicole, that is, until she landed a slot as an opening act for Atlantic Records recording artist Lupe Fiasco while a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since then she has performed on notable stages such as Blues Alley and The Carter Barron in Washington, DC, The Public Theater and MoMA PS1 in NYC, and the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY among others.
When her charming stage presence and statuesque build caught the eye of Beyoncé and Tina Knowles' Beyond Productions, the singer/songwriter began working as a fashion model for Miss Tina by Tina Knowles. While working as a lookbook and commercial print model, T Nicole also began writing and recording new music. Her first single, “Crush On You” debuted in December 2013.
